This book aims to provide users theoretical basis and practical examples needed to develop and use applications with databases.
Theoretical concepts presented are exemplified immediately in Visual FoxPro (VFP) in two comparative versions: both in its procedural language – referring to VFP, and in extended nucleus of SQL – the reference in SQL. When is missing one of the two versions it means there is not instructions for that operation.
At the end of each chapter are given numerous theoretical and practical tests, and problems in the language of VFP and extended nucleus SQL. Also, each chapter has at finally a resume, the references and keywords used.
The volume contains several appendices that contain comparative synthesis and case studies.
This book is useful for developing applications with relational databases in VFP and is designed both computer specialists, to build the concepts and methods of work, and students, for systematic learning and assessment.
