Exercises of statistics and econometrics for economists

The book of exercises of Statistics and Econometrics is dedicated to students from the Faculty of International Affairs. The book of applications contains two parts corresponding to two subjects of matter: Statistics and Econometrics. There are some solved exercises at the beginning of each chapter, being followed by proposed exercises. These applications cover the topics from the syllabus.

Moreover, in the section for Econometrics some theoretical marks and formulae are given in order to cover the lack of a course for the students from the Faculty of International Affairs. Some applications are an useful guide for students in developing a project for Econometrics, being described in detail and applied the stages of parameters’ estimation and the validation of the assumptions for the model estimated using ordinary least squares.
