Financial accounting

The three authors intended to prepare a guide book for all those interested in financial accounting or involved in bookkeeping and financial analysis of companies. The book is structured in 8 chapters and each chapter covers some of the main elements of the financial statements and provides information useful for any student or even professional accountant. Each section begins by describing the key theoretical concepts and then illustrates theoretical concepts with practical examples, which facilitates the understanding process. Also, after the illustrated examples a number of applications are presented to be solved so those interested can practise in order to better secure the new knowledge gained. Case studies are especially designed to cover a wide range of situations which are very likely to be found in the real life of a company.
