Graphics, design and creative creation, from conceptual design to finished product, brings both theoretical concepts about the subject in hand and an extensive application guide required in order to transform the concept into a deliverable.
With a strong applicative character, the guide starts up with a detailed presentation of the creative design process right from the first contact with the client and all the way to the production and distribution of the materials. For the conceptual design the author goes through the primary elements of graphic design and its major principles in a pragmatic style abundant in examples.
The applicative section of the book is composed of three complementary parts dedicated to vectors, raster graphics and three-dimensional modeling for 3D printing. These parts contain all the skills required in order to use the theoretic concepts presented earlier and create the deliverable.
For the examples in the book the author has chosen a number of four applications freely available to the users under the Open Source License Agreement (Inkscape, GIMP, FreeCAD and Slic3r) in order to put aside all financial barriers and avoid working with evaluation versions.
For a complete reader experience, all digital materials used as examples in the applicable section of the book (images, working files, screenshots), as well as the video clips demonstrating the working procedures will be available online on cristitatu.ro/creatiepublicitara.
