Over the last decades the researches have been focused on the tendency to define the concept of emotional intelligence, demonstrating its importance for personal development and socio-professional insertion. The current problems in this area continue outstanding results.

After applying some psychomotor programs in physical education and sports lessons, there were beneficial effects emotionally, regarding energy activator, allowing the expression of emotions which are hard to explain or express, especially those generated by conflicts, or in terms of achieving emotional awareness by reducing negative pressure.

 This paper presents concepts that provide to specialists in the field of physical education and sports, information and models that are  necessary to the educational process.

The perspective of the emotional competence development by practicing motor activities involves improving the good spirit, increasing the capacity of making decisions, of solving problems in a responsible way, facing the daily demands and the stressful events in daily life.
