Urban Waste Management. An European Comparative Perspective

Understanding the mechanisms and phenomena that have characterized the dynamics of developments regarding urban waste management is really possible only if there is a correct and complete perception of the current fundamental coordinates of waste management systems at international, national, regional and local levels. The book is not only a source of documentation, but also an in-depth information source on the potential means by which decision makers can contribute to the balanced development of waste management systems and can outline an integrative vision of urban waste management, in which the essential principles and coordinates are compatible with those of the developed European countries.
